Powai Women Networking, PWN is a close-knit, high voltage, information centric, one stop platform providing various solutions for eateries, schools, spas, shops, events, doctors, everything around the Powai and beyond! The group is also very active offline with varied meetups, talk shows, workshops for women and kids being organized. Powai Women Networking (PWN), that started in February 2014 is now connecting over 25000 women or we could say families and is helping generate revenues for 1000s of businesses!

PWN’s commitment to its members, authentic information, and underlying fun feature to every activity is highly recognized all across Mumbai and beyond, making it feature in Times of India, Mumbai Mid Day, YourStory, etc. It has also been recognized by Facebook as one of the most engaged women groups in India.

Our Story

"Like all great things, Powai Women Networking (PWN) was also not a typically planned idea. It started with a whatsapp group of 'Yummy Mummies' coming together in May 2013. We were a bunch of some 20 new moms, mostly my friends and acquaintances ! We planned to celebrate mothers' day together. It was a special day for all of us as it was our first mothers' day as moms!

It struck me then, that like us, there would definitely be other mums who would like to know and meet more mothers. That apart, Powai had many talented women around who would like to showcase their work to others around them.

That is when PWN was formed in February 2014, with an idea to build an effective community to bring together the women of Powai, a networking platform where people get their queries solved, grow their business and most importantly, make friends with like-minded women living nearby.

The key element of the group is "women" who can be a mother, an entrepreneur, a homemaker or even a college going student. This community brings them all together on one platform to Inspire, Empower and Connect. " - Kanupriya Agarwal

Have immensely benefitted with posts on various issues and have been happy to share views and help with contacts with fellow Members! More that am indebted to Kanupriya for creating such an awesome platform for women to come together and thrash out any issue that's causing anxiety or is worrisome and find lasting and quick solutions!  It's a broader than broad shoulder that we women need all the time!
